10: Price per Active, Not per Kilo
The headline price per kilogram is the most misleading number in sourcing. A 10% extract looks cheaper than an 80% extract until you calculate the cost per milligram of active ingredient delivered to the consumer – including capsule size, fill weight and shipping.
